Tufts Health Plan, Waltham, Mass., will be offering a health savings account program in Massachusetts to employers with fewer than 10 employees.[@@]

Tufts, one of the most prestigious regional managed care plans in the country, will be working with Destiny Health, Oak Ridge, Ill., one of the pioneers in the account-based health plan market.

Tufts believe its HSA program will be the first available in Massachusetts, and the company points out that 64% of Massachusetts businesses have fewer than 10 employees.

Tufts will be marketing to small employers through alliances with the Small Business Service Bureau Inc., Worcester, Mass.; Massachusetts Business Administration, Boston; and Northeast Business Trust, Billerica, Mass.
