Jefferson Pilot Financial, Greensboro, N.C., has introduced 2 universal life products aimed at New York residents.[@@]
Jefferson Pilot, a unit of Jefferson-Pilot Corp., will be issuing the JPF Legend XG NY and JPF Legend Plus NY policies through its Jefferson Pilot LifeAmerica Insurance Company unit.
The JPF Legend XG NY policy is designed for customers who are more interested in maximizing death benefits than in accumulating cash value.
The JPF Legend Plus NY policy is designed for customers who are interested both in high death benefits and in building up cash value, Jefferson Pilot says. Holders of the Legend Plus policy can get zero-spread loans beginning in the first policy year.
