Motivano, New York, will be working with UMB Financial Corp., Kansas City, Mo., to sell a spending card-based system for administration health savings accounts, flexible savings accounts and other personal benefits accounts.[@@]
Motivano, a unit of Motivano Ltd., London, has developed the SmartFlex prepaid spending card program. Employers and health insurers can use the SmartFlex card to simplify administration of benefit programs that are coming to rely on a bewildering array of accounts and reimbursement arrangements, Motivano says.
UMB Financial is a bank holding company that has been offering card-based FSA administration programs since 1996.
