Dearborn Acquires Mass. Training Firm

Dearborn Financial Services, Chicago, has acquired The Saenger Organization, Medway, Mass.[@@]

Dearborn, a unit of The Washington Post Company, Washington, sells financial services training and testing services.

The Saenger Organization was established 25 years ago. It organizes licensing and continuing education programs that deal with life insurance and health insurance as well as property-casualty insurance for financial advisors in the Northeastern United States.

The price of the Saenger deal and other terms were not available.

The acquisition is the third Dearborn has announced in less than 3 months. In July, Dearborn reported the acquisition of another Southeastern insurance education firm, Insurance Achievement Inc., Baton Rouge, La. In August, the company acquired Insurance Systems of Tennessee Inc., Nashville, Tenn.
