Conseco Inc., Carmel, Ind., has hired Steven Stecher to be executive vice president, operations and information technology, at its Conseco Insurance Group unit.[@@]
Conseco Insurance sells life insurance, supplemental health insurance and annuities.
Stecher previously was senior vice president and chief information officer at ORIX Financial Services Inc., Wayne, Pa. Stecher also has been chief information officer and head of shared services at ING Americas, a unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam.
Stecher has a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and a master's degree in management from National University.
