AdminServer Inc., Chester, Pa., has introduced UVServer, an automated fund accounting system for the life and annuity industries.[@@]
The system can monitor accounts, calculate unit values and generate required reports for variable annuities, variable life insurance policies, variable universal life policies and other products that incorporate stock-based accounts.
The system also can warn managers about exceptions or “out-of-balance” problems through cellular telephone calls, electronic mail messages, PDA messages and instant text messages, AdminServer says.
AdminServer plans to release the software Nov. 1.
