Aetna Hires Regional Manager

Aetna Inc., Hartford, has hired William Berenson to be general manager for small group for its North Central region.[@@]

Berenson previously was a regional sales manager for the Midwest for the group insurance unit at CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Southern Maine, and he started in the insurance business at the company now as UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn.
