Assurant Employee Benefits, Kansas City, Mo., has hired Karla Schacht to be senior vice president and chief information officer.[@@]
Schacht has owned a print shop in Dallas since 2002. Previously, she was senior vice president for information services at I2 Technologies Inc., Dallas, and vice president for corporate operations at Arrow Electronics Inc., Melville, N.Y.
Schacht has a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University.
Assurant Employee Benefits is a unit of Assurant Inc., New York.
