Aetna To Serve Midsize Fiserv Health Clients

Fiserv Inc., Brookfield, Wis., has picked Aetna Inc., Hartford, to help its Wausau Benefits unit run midsize health plans.[@@]

Starting Jan. 1, 2005, Aetna will supply a provider network, stop-loss coverage and large claim management services for Wausau Benefits clients that have self-funded health plans and 100 to 3,000 eligible employees.

Wausau Benefits will continue to handle sales, account management, claim processing, customer service, case management services and disease management services.
