Cigna HealthCare has enhanced its online health plan administration site to make it more useful to benefits managers.[@@]

The company, a subsidiary of Cigna Corp., Philadelphia, says it added new eligibility and enrollment capabilities to its CignaAccess.com site, which is used by more than 2,700 employee benefits plan administrators whose companies have Cigna health care plans.

The new capabilities will enable administrators to more easily enroll new health plan members and dependents, cancel coverage, add dependents and change benefit elections, according to Cigna.

For employers with disability plans, CignaAccess also offers tools to help benefits managers return ailing employees to work, including help in making claims decisions, employee communications tools and Family and Medical Leave Act information.
