Sun Life Financial U.S., Wellesley Hills, Mass., has hired Kevin Hart to be president of its MFS/Sun Life Financial Distributors Inc. unit.[@@]
Hart will be reporting to Bob Salipante, the president of Sun Life Financial (U.S.), and Martin Beaulieu, executive vice president at MFS Investment Management, Boston.
The distribution unit is a joint venture of Sun Life Financial (U.S.) and MFS Investment Management that sells variable, fixed and equity-indexed products issued by Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada (U.S.).
Hart previously was chief executive of SunAmerica Financial Network Inc., a unit of American International Group Inc., New York.
Sun Life Financial (U.S.) is a unit of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto.
