GAMA International, Falls Church, Va., has hired Jeff Hughes to be its chief executive officer.[@@]
Hughes succeeds Charles Smith, who is now GAMA’s chairman.
Smith will continue to be GAMA’s chairman, and James Krueger, the president of GAMA, will continue to be GAMA’s president.
Hughes previously was the assistant vice president-learning officer for distribution marketing and learning at The MONY Group Inc., New York. He also has been a training executive at American International Group Inc., New York; MetLife Inc., New York; and Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J.
Hughes has a bachelor’s degree in management from Syracuse University, and he has been a member of GAMA International since 2000.
