Nationwide Financial Services Inc., Columbus, Ohio, is using software from NaviSys Inc., Edison, N.J., to improve its Web-based illustration tools.[@@]
The update will help about 15,000 Nationwide agents and distributors develop proposals for universal life, variable universal life, term life and whole life products, NaviSys says.
Nationwide Financial also plans to add a Web-based NaviSys application that uses “reflexive questioning” to capture the information required for underwriting and issuing a policy. The application automatically accepts data from the illustration system, so that representatives will need to enter customer data only once, NaviSys says.
