Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, has updated its family of group health plans for small and midsize employers.[@@]

In addition to selling traditional health plans, Guardian is working with Destiny Health, Oak Ridge, Ill., to sell health plan programs that offer workers access to personal health accounts.

Business owners can choose from a menu of co-payment levels, coinsurance levels, deductible options, out-of-pocket maximums options and drug plan cost-sharing options as well as a menu of Bronze, Silver and Gold benefits packages.

New features for health plan members include a 24-hour nurse advice line and specialized care networks for organ transplants.
