Hartford Life Insurance Company, Simsbury, Conn., has announced 5 executive promotions.[@@]

The company, a unit of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., has promoted Carol Harnett to assistant vice president and national group benefits practice leader. Harnett, a clinical physiologist, has been the national practice leader for group disability and life insurance.

The company also has promoted 4 executives to vice president, from assistant vice president:

- Sharon Roberts will be a vice president in Hartford Life’s annuity contact center and contract management operation.

- Brian Neary will be a vice president and director of customer service in Hartford Life’s group benefits division.

- Scott Sanderson will be a vice president and retail products national sales director at Hartford Life.

- Kathleen Ciullo will be a vice president on the 401(k) service team at Hartford Life’s investment products division.
