Dearborn Financial Services, Chicago, has acquired Insurance Achievement Inc., Baton Rouge, La.[@@]

Dearborn, a unit of The Washington Post Company, Washington, sells financial services training and testing services.

Insurance Achievement develops textbooks and other materials for students who are seeking the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter professional designations. R. Robert Rackley, a lawyer who once served in the Strategic Air Command, and his wife, Jeanette Rackley, founded the company in 1969.

The price of the Dearborn deal and other terms were not available.
