The behavioral health unit of CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, has signed 6 new clients in the Northwest and Northeast.[@@]
In the Washington area, CIGNA will be managing substance abuse treatment and other forms of mental health care for Louisiana-Pacific Corp., Portland, Ore. CIGNA also will be providing employee assistance programs and work-life programs for Louisiana-Pacific and Harrison Memorial Hospital, Bremerton, Wash.
In the New York area, CIGNA will be providing employee assistance and work-life programs for employees of North Fork Bank Corp., Melville, N.Y.; Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, N.Y.; WebMD Corp., Elmwood Park, N.J.; and Sankyo Pharmaceuticals, Parsippany, N.J.
Together, the 6 new clients have health plans with a total of about 17,800 participants.
