NU Online News Service, June 16, 2004, 4:55 p.m. EDT – Inviva Inc., New York, has hired Laurence Greenberg to be vice chairman.[@@]
Greenberg will help run Inviva, a company that sells life insurance and annuities through the Web, and 2 Inviva subsidiaries, The American Life Insurance Company of New York and Jefferson National Life Insurance Company, New York.
Greenberg previously was first vice president of consumer banking at a unit of Merrill Lynch & Company Inc., New York. He has served on the Inviva board since 2000.
Greenberg has a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
