The Aviator program offers 25 money managers, 106 investment options and no proprietary investment option requirements.

Plan sponsors can let Hartford administer the plans or hire local administrators to do the work. Electronic program options include electronic lending services, electronic enrollment tools, and electronic payment and remittance tools.

Hartford says it will be supporting advisors who sell the Aviator 401(k) plans with a network of 80 regional retirement sales directors, 23 regional enrollment and participant education specialists, 28 sales support professionals and 300 wholesalers.

Participant education materials are available in Spanish as well as in English.
