Advisors can use the new Advisor Workstation Office Edition system to manage contacts as well as to generate client reports, analyze investments and manage clients’ portfolios, Morningstar says.

The system can import StatementOne client data and export data in the Microsoft Excel format.

The research area offers analysis of 2,800 stocks and mutual funds and basic facts and data for a total of 60,000 mutual funds, stocks, variable insurance products, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds and separate accounts.

Another feature, a Value at Risk graph, helps financial advisors gauge a client’s risk tolerance by illustrating the amount of money the client could lose on a specific investment.
