NU Online News Service, May 25, 2004, 1:23 p.m. EDT – A major insurance standards group has released a family of 500 electronically fillable forms and put up a new support services Web site.[@@]

The Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development, Pearl River, N.Y., unveiled the forms and its new ACORD Advantage Web site Monday in Las Vegas at the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum.

The form collection includes standard life, health and annuity forms as well as property-casualty forms, ACORD says. Users can search for forms by form number, form name, line of business or state, and ACORD also will offer a short list of the most frequently used forms, ACORD says.

ACORD is distributing the forms through the new Advantage program Web site, at http://www.www.acordadvantage.org

Advantage program members previously had to search for ACORD services, such as access to the group’s benchmark calculator, on the main ACORD Web site.
