BenefitPoint To Market Benny Card

NU Online News Service, May 14, 2004, 4:50 p.m. EDT – BenefitPoint Inc., San Francisco, has named Evolution Benefits Inc., Avon, Conn., its preferred vendor for card-based administration services for personal benefit accounts.[@@]

BenefitPoint will encourage brokers and consultants to market Evolution’s Benny card system as a tool for running flexible spending account, health reimbursement arrangement and transportation management account programs, Evolution says.

Employees can use the Benny cards, which are similar to debit cards, to draw on their benefit accounts to pay for prescription drugs, bus passes and other eligible products and services.

An automated system will help brokers and consultants generate product proposals that include the cost of Benny card services, Evolution says.

Evolution adds that it will be working with outside benefits administration companies to support BenefitPoint subscribers.
