NU Online News Service, April 27, 2004 11:00 a.m. ? Allstate Financial says it is opening its agent-oriented Web site to producers in financial institutions. [@@]

The company, a unit of the Allstate Corporation, Northbrook, Ill., previously had made its AccessAllstate.com site available only to financial advisors or Allstate agents who were registered to sell Allstate or Lincoln Benefit Life Company products.

The site streamlines how producers do business with Allstate, explains Joe Tomalavage, director of Allstate Financial Technology, a division of Allstate Financial.

“Now our financial institution partners are able to access client information quickly, obtain real-time policy values, download forms, order marketing materials online, review product and fund information, and access sales and marketing ideas 24 hours a day from one central location,” he says.

The site allows financial institutions to tailor the view to display only products sold by their bank and approved by local state regulators, Allstate says.
