WellChoice Calls Off Oxford Talks

The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month that WellChoice, the parent of Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield, was looking at the possibility of acquiring Oxford, but investors have speculated on message boards that Oxford might be considering offers from other suitors.
