NU Online News Service, April 20, 2004, 3:43 p.m. EDT – The company formerly known as Wellness Services L.L.C., Park City, Utah, is revamping its operations.[@@]

The privately held company has brought in a new president, changed its name to Extend Benefits Group L.L.C. and changed its mission.

The new president, Bryce Williams, previously was senior vice president of marketing at eHealthInsurance Services Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., a Web-based health insurance broker.

Extend has been marketing wellness products through associations and other groups. The company now hopes to branch out and start selling employee benefits. Williams and Extend’s existing shareholders have invested $1.25 million to finance the company’s move into the benefits market.

Anthony Meyer, the executive who has been serving as Extend’s president, will stay with the company as its chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
