NU Online News Service, April 14, 2004, 5:03 p.m. EDT – Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has named Michael Kalen head of the individual life division at Hartford Life.[@@]
Kalen has been the division’s distribution director since April 2003. He previously spent more than 20 years at Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J.
Kalen succeeds Robert Kerzner, who is retiring. Kerzner began working for Hartford in 1974 and took charge of the company’s individual life division in 1998.
