NU Online News Service, April 14, 2004, 10:16 a.m. EDT – CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, is starting an international employee assistance program.[@@]

The company’s Eden Prairie, Minn.-based behavioral health unit will be marketing the program to employers that use CIGNA’s international benefits unit.

The program will provide multi-lingual counseling and advice for plan members who suffer from stress, depression and other behavioral health problems. The program also will provide support for employees who are learning how to adapt to life outside their native countries.

Participants can get help through the telephone and through face-to-face visits.
