AHIP Brings Styles Back As Federal Affairs Exec

NU Online News Service, April 14, 2004, 4:55 p.m. EDT – America’s Health Insurance Plans, Washington, has hired Scott Styles to be senior vice president of federal affairs.[@@]

Styles has been working for Bergner, Bockorny, Castagnetti & Hawkins Inc., Washington, a government relations consulting firm. He previously worked at the American Association of Health Plans, the trade group that merged with the Health Insurance Association of America to form AHIP.

Styles also has been the chief of staff for Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, and he served in the first Bush administration as the legislative advisor for Secretary of State James Baker III.
