StanCorp Makes Executive Change In Benefits Unit

NU Online News Service, April 7, 2004, 9:40 a.m. EST –StanCorp Financial Group Inc. has appointed Greg Ness as senior vice president of its employee benefits division, replacing Doug Maines, who the company says has left “to pursue other opportunities.”[@@]

Ness has been with StanCorp, in Portland, Ore., for 25 years, most recently as senior vice president, investments, and president of StanCorp Mortgage Investors and StanCorp Investment Advisers.

StanCorp, the parent company of Standard Insurance Company and Standard Life Insurance Company of New York, specializes in employee benefits products and services.
