NU Online News Service, March 30, 2004, 12:52 p.m. EST – A technology company and a financial news company have developed a new Spanish-language U.S. mutual fund commentary service.[@@]
UpTick Data Technologies Inc., San Francisco, and Latin Asset Management Corp., New York, are combining an automated system for generating performance commentary with fund performance data from an outside vendor.
Other companies offer Spanish translations of English-language fund reports, but Uptick and Latin Asset say they believe their service, the Spanish-language FundXtra report service, is the first designed specifically for Spanish-speaking advisors and Spanish-speaking clients.
