Jefferson Pilot To Save Trees

NU Online News Service, March 9, 2004, 5:43 p.m. EST – Jefferson Pilot Financial, Greensboro, N.C., wants to reduce the number of trees that die to serve holders of its variable universal life and variable annuity policies.[@@]

The company has introduced an electronic delivery system for VUL and VA prospectuses, annual reports and semi-annual reports.

Customers who sign up for the service will get electronic mail notices and hyperlinks to the reports when the reports are available, Jefferson Pilot says.

Jefferson Pilot Financial is a unit of Jefferson-Pilot Corp., Greensboro.
