NU Online News Service, Feb. 27, 2004, 9:28 a.m. EST – Due to an editing error, the nature of the concerns of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, Falls Church, Va., about the recently proposed Internal Revenue Service guidance on Section 412(i) plans was described incorrectly in the original version of an article that ran Thursday.[@@]
AALU fears that a formula given in the guidance could artificially inflate the value of life insurance policies used in the plans.
