NU Online News Service, Feb. 26, 2004, 1:43 p.m. EST – Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, has announced 4 top-level promotions.[@@]
The company has promoted Karen Shaff to executive vice president and general counsel for law and government relations. She previously was a senior vice president at Principal.
Principal also has promoted 3 vice presidents to senior vice president.
The new senior vice presidents are Ronald Danilson, who oversees Principal’s individual and institutional annuities business; James DeVries, who works in human resources; and Nora Everett, a deputy general counsel.
Principal also promoted David Brown, Lynn Graves and John Ievalts to vice president.
Brown is in compliance, and Graves is in executive operations. Ievalts works in the residential mortgage unit.
