Jones, who is succeeding Dr. Don Fowls, is the chief clinical officer at PacifiCare Behavioral Health, a unit of PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., Santa Ana, Calif.
The behavioral health care association represents 11 organizations that manage mental health care for more than 110 million people.
Jones is a licensed psychologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cornell University and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Northwestern University.
