NU Online News Service, Feb. 20, 2004, 1:07 p.m. EST – Evergreen Re Inc., Stuart, Fla., has hired Bill Whitaker to be its chief operating officer.[@@]
Evergreen is a health reinsurer and medical risk brokerage firm.
Whitaker previously was vice president of sales at the behavioral health unit of Horizon Health Corp., Lewisville, Texas. He also has been the chief operating officer of a specialty health unit of Magellan Health Services Inc., Columbia, Md.
Whitaker has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Troy State University and a master’s degree in management from the University of South Florida.
