The national financial services marketing consortium increased insurance sales 13%, to $877 million.[@@]

Sales of annuities increased 36%, to $179 million, and sales of long term care insurance increased 25%, to $1.8 million.

Revenue at M Holdings Securities, the group’s broker-dealer, rose only 4%, but proprietary mutual fund assets climbed 48%, to $437.8 million.
