Pacific Life Foundation To Give $3 Million To Charity

NU Online News Service, Jan. 21, 2004, 11:32 a.m. EST – Pacific Life Insurance Company, Newport Beach, Calif., says its foundation, the Pacific Life Foundation, will be giving a total of $3 million to nonprofit agencies this year.[@@]

The foundation already has given $2.4 million to 190 nonprofit organizations, and it will be giving another $600,000 to nonprofit groups throughout the year, Pacific Life says. Grants made at the beginning of the year include $974,500 in contributions to groups that help the needy and $319,000 in contributions to groups that support the arts and cultural diversity.
