Kerzner To Retire From Hartford Life Post

NU Online News Service, Jan. 15, 2004, 4:53 p.m. EST – Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, says Robert Kerzner will be retiring in May from his posts as executive vice president of Hartford’s individual life division and president of the Woodbury Financial Services broker-dealer unit.[@@]

Kerzner began working for Hartford Life in 1974 in field sales. He managed the company’s southern Connecticut regional office for 15 years. He has been director of the individual life business since 1998, and Hartford promoted him to executive vice president in 2001.

In 2001, Kerzner helped acquire and integrate a large financial services operation previously owned by Fortis, Brussels.

Kerzner is a member of the board of LIMRA International, Windsor, Conn.
