LabOne Wins Anthem Cincinnati Testing Contract

NU Online News Service, Jan. 14, 2004, 12:26 p.m. EST – Anthem Inc., Indianapolis, has agreed to hire LabOne Inc., Lenexa, Kan., to provide laboratory testing services for Cincinnati-area members of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plans.[@@]

LabOne recently acquired a lab testing service from The Health Alliance, Cincinnati, a nonprofit company that controls 6 Cincinnati hospitals. The old Health Alliance service will handle the Anthem testing account, LabOne says.
