Skandia Life To Use SolCorp System

NU Online News Service, Jan. 8, 2004, 10:23 a.m. EST – Skandia Life Assurance Holdings, Southampton, England, has agreed to use the ProductXpress system from Insurance Software Solutions Corp., Toronto, to develop new products.[@@]

Skandia has a contract to license use of the software in Finland, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and “offshore” areas. The price of the contract was not immediately available.

Insurance Software, also known as SolCorp, is a unit of Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas.

Skandia Life is a unit of Skandia Insurance Company Ltd., Stockholm, Sweden.
