Manulife Buys Atlanta Office Building

NU Online News Service, Dec. 30, 2003, 4:47 p.m. EST – Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto, has paid $118 million for The Proscenium office tower in midtown Atlanta.[@@]

Manulife bought the 24-story, 528,000-square-foot building from a development partnership led by Trammell Crow Company, Dallas.

Manulife now owns about 23 million square feet of real estate in Canada, the United States and Japan.

The 9 Manulife buildings in Atlanta account for about 10% of the company’s total real estate portfolio.
