NU Online News Service, Dec. 9, 2003, 11:51 a.m. EST – Insurance Software Solutions Corp., Toronto, a unit of Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas, has agreed to use business analysis systems from Information Builders Inc., New York, to help life insurers comply with the new federal anti-money laundering standards.[@@]

Insurance Software, also known as SolCorp, will market a version of Information Builders’ WebFOCUS system tailored to work with SolCorp’s Ingenium policy administration system.

Insurers can use WebFOCUS to sift through a database or a stream of transaction data to find evidence of suspicious activity.
