Holcombe To Head WebMD Envoy

NU Online News Service, Dec. 9, 2003, 12:13 p.m. EST – WebMD Corp., Elmwood Park, N.J., has hired Tony Holcombe to be president of its WebMED Envoy unit.[@@]

WebMD Envoy runs an electronic system that health care providers can use to collect payments from insurers.

Holcombe is succeeding Thomas Apker, who is leaving the WebMD Envoy unit to become a special advisor to Roger Holstein, chairman of the parent company.

Holcombe has been chief executive of Valutec Card Solutions Inc., Brentwood, Tenn., a privately held electronic payment card services company. He previously was president of the Ceridian Employer Services unit and the Ceridian Comdata information services unit at Ceridian Corp., Minneapolis.
