NU Online News Service, Dec. 8, 2003, 4:22 p.m. EST – The Life Insurance Council of New York Inc., Albany, N.Y., has elected Patrick Mannion to be chairman of its board in 2004.[@@]
Mannion is president of Unity Mutual Life Insurance Company, Syracuse, N.Y., and a member of the board of the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington.
The other new officers of the New York life council are:
- Chair-elect: Raul Rivera, chairman of National Benefit Life Insurance Company, New York.
- Secretary-treasurer: Michael Roth, chairman of The MONY Group Inc., New York.
The New York life council represents the interests of 64 life insurance companies that do business in the state and 16 professional services firms that serve New York life companies.
