Gentry Succeeds Dewald As NAILBA Chairman

NU Online News Service, Dec. 8, 2003, 4:12 p.m. EST – The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies, Fairfax, Va., has elected Cindy Gentry to be its chair in 2004.[@@]

Gentry, the president of Brown & Brown Associates/LifeMark, Corpus Christi, Texas, succeeds Jack Dewald, who will now serve as immediate past president. Dewald is president of Agency Services Inc., Memphis, Tenn.

The other new officers of NAILBA are:

- Chair-elect: Kevin Merz, president of The Merz Agency Inc., Portland, Ore.

- Treasurer: Matthew McAvoy, president of Target Insurance Services Inc., Overland Park, Kansas.

- Secretary: Barry Wolfe, president of CentreLink Insurance and Financial Services, Woodland Hills, Calif.
