NU Online News Service, Nov. 10, 2003, 3:24 p.m. EST – The BISYS Group Inc., New York, is setting up the Individual(k) Advisor Registry, a Web-based directory of brokers and financial advisors who sell Individual(k) retirement plans.
BISYS is posting the directory at http://www.individual-k.com
BISYS is organizing the directory by ZIP code. Small business owners who enter their ZIP codes will get lists of nearby advisors who handle Individual(k) plans. In addition to contact information, each advisor entry will include the advisor’s credentials and a customized promotional message, BISYS says.
The sales kit for advisors who appear in the directory will include an Individual(k) plan tutorial, sample PowerPoint presentations, sample prospecting letters and access to an outside firm’s directory of Individual(k) plan prospects, BISYS says.
