Its hard to believe, but our first e-newsletter, the LTC e-Wire, is celebrating its second anniversary this month.
When we launched this product back in November 2001, it was something of a venture into the unknown. We hadnt done an electronic publication before and werent sure what the reception among readers would be.
Im happy to report that LTC e-Wire has been a roaring success and that with two years under its belt, close to 13,000 people have opted in to get the publication every month.
None of this would have been possible without the vision of Senior Editor Linda Koco and the able assistance of Staff Writer Marcella De Simone. Month in and month out they produce a publication that has its finger on the pulse of the LTC insurance business.
And what a business it is! Long term care practitioners and providers are a passionate lot. They bring a strong sense of mission and zeal to their endeavors. In LTC e-Wire they have found a publication that responds to their passion with a mix of staff-written and contributed articles, surveys, interesting facts and sales pointers.
