NU Online News Service, Nov. 4, 2003, 4:55 p.m. EST – The wealth advisory services unit at Wilmington Trust Corp., Wilmington, Del., has set up a formal wealth strategies team to serve “ultra-affluent” individuals and families with at least $25 million in investable assets.

Robert Balentine, president of Wilmington Trust’s Atlanta office, will head the 12-advisor team, which will specialize in helping wealthy clients with complicated tax planning, estate planning, philanthropic and insurance problems.

The team advisors will work with the clients’ own legal and financial advisors, Wilmington Trust says.

The creation of the wealth strategies team helps set up a formal framework for the approach that Wilmington Trust has been using to help wealthy clients all along, the company says.
