AdvisorCentral Site Adds Fund Transaction Capabilities

NU Online News Service, Oct. 21, 2003, 12:15 p.m. EDT – AdvisorCentral L.L.C., Westborough, Mass., has added transaction capabilities to its financial advisor Web site, at

Advisors now can use the AdvisorCentral site to buy, exchange and sell mutual funds from several large fund companies.

AdvisorCentral is a joint venture founded by Fidelity Investments, Boston; Putnam Investments, Boston; Franklin Templeton Investments, San Mateo, Calif.; and PFPC Inc., a unit of The PNC Financial Services Group Inc., Pittsburgh.

AdvisorCentral has based its new site services on the Fund/SPEED technology from National Securities Clearing Corp., New York.
