NAIC Senior Counsel Moves To Law Firm Public Policy Practice

NU Online News Service, Oct. 14, 2003, 5:47 p.m. EDT – John Fielding, a senior counsel in the Washington office of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, has left the NAIC to join the government relations and public policy practice group at Collier Shannon Scott P.L.L.C., Washington, a law firm.

The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, Washington, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Falls Church, Va., will be two of Fielding’s clients.

At the NAIC, Fielding worked on privacy protection issues, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act and the USA Patriot Act.
